Noise Pop Industries have announced the dates of the West Coast’s 18th annual Noise Pop Festival and music industry mini-conference, called Industry Noise. The celebration of independent music, film, and art will take place February 23-March 1 at various venues around the San Francisco area. Industry Noise will happen on Saturday, February 27 at The Swedish American Hall. This mini-conference discusses independent music, technology, changes in the industry and will be attended by musicians, indie labels, music bloggers, managers and others involved in music.Among the many independent music acts you can catch at Noise Pop 2010 are Magnetic Fields, Mark Kozelek, Rogue Wave, Atlas Sound, The Soundtrack of Our Lives, Four Tet, John Vanderslice, We Were Promised Jet Packs, Wallpaper, Zee Avi, The Limousines, and Foreign Born.
Festival badges go on sale Wednesday, Dec 9 at noon. Tickets to individual shows go on sale Saturuday, December 12. For more information go to noisepop.com/2010.
