Its been two years since Nile’s last studio album “Ithyphallic”, and technical death metal machines Nile are back on the horse again with new brutally brilliant material. “Those Whom The Gods Detest” is a foot to the throat experience not to be missed. Brutal, yet melodic and technically refined, this album is trademark Nile with its unforgiving barbarity, Egyptian mythology, Middle Eastern interludes and with Karl Sanders and Dallas Toler-Wade guitar dueling each other for pole position it is easy to see why Nile is still the leader of the death metal scene.
