Lady GagGa is the first artist in history to sell over 20 million digital singles, reported Hollyscoop.com.
She was recognized by the Record Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the highest-certified artist of digital Gold and Platinum sales in history.
“Just Dance” is her highest selling single with six million copies sold. “Poker Face” sold five million, “Bad Romance” four million and “Papparazzi” and “Love Game” trailed closely behind with three million and two million, respectively.
The singer is also up to receive the prestigious Fashion Icon Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
Although it is unclear if GaGa will attend the ceremony to receive her award, which will be presented on June 6 in New York at the Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, it is likely considering her recent foray onto the runway during Paris Fashion Week.
