Hard to say whether this is funny or sad– probably both.
Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd was arrested yesterday for holding up a Walgreens… for oxycontin. He apparently showed the pharmacist a note stating that he had a bomb. He fled with six pill bottles in a taxi.
But police spotted the taxi and were able to track down its destination through the dispatcher. He was arrested without incident at the Comcast Center, just before the band was about to open for Soundgarden.
Michael Todd was charged with armed robbery and unlawful possession of prescription narcotics. He is being held on $10,000 bail and will be arraigned on Monday morning.
I wonder how the C&C show went.
