Kyuss Lives! bassist and former member of the rock band Queens of the Stone, Nick Oliveri, found himself in the middle of a standoff with L.A. S.W.A.T. team, according to TMZ.
The former Queens of the Stone Age bassist allegedly got into a heated confrontation with his girlfriend and locked themselves in his L.A. duplex. When cops arrived on the scene he refused to let them in the property, or let his girlfriend leave.
A S.W.A.T team was called and two hours later Oliveri released his girlfriend. Two hours after that the standoff ended with Oliveri in custody.
He was booked on felony domestic violence and released after posting $100,000 bail.
