Ever wondered what it would be like to combine “Good Vibrations” with The Jungle Book’s “Bare Necessities”? Well here’s your chance! The 69 year old songwriting legend’s most recent venture is a cover album devoted entirely to songs from Disney movies. According to USA Today, when asked why he took on this request by Disney to create the album, Wilson, “[wanted to do] a good job bringing Disney people to the fore, so people could appreciate them.”
Some of those people include Elton John’s with “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?” from The Lion Kings and Randy Newman’s iconic “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and newly familiar “We Belong Together” from Toy Story and Toy Story 3. The album is set to release on October 25 via Disney Pearl Records. Check out the tracklist below!
