This is news that should brighten anyone and everyone’s day. Seven years have passed since the release of this raspy California native’s last studio album, Real Gone. Hopefully the new track is a hint towards a new release in the near future. Tom Waits has said through Twitter that he will explain everything in regards to new music this coming Tuesday, August 23rd. This date is oddly enough the same day that Amazon has announced that a new Tom Waits single, “Bad As Me”, will be for sale.
Six days seems like an eternity to wait for this, but I suppose we’ll all just bite the bullet and wait it out. Check out the Amazon listing here, and get ready to make the purchase right when it strikes the 23rd!
