Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, has made it publicly known that he does not appreciate Fox News playing the band’s music.
Levine lashed out against the major news corporation on Twitter–saying “Dear Fox News, don’t play our music on your evil f****** channel ever again. Thank you.”
According to Rolling Stone, when asked about the incident, Levine’s representative was silent, and declined any sort of comment.
Fox hosts Greg Gutfeld and Andy Levy replied to Levine’s tweets with Gutfield responding, “Dear Adam, that’s not music”. His co-host Levy came back a little more harshly, tweeting back to the singer, “Dear @Adam Levine, don’t make crappy f****** music ever again. Thank you”.
Music and politics have always been intertwined, but will this be the last we hear of musicians speaking out so publicly–and in such brutally honest ways–as Levine has?
