Charlie Sheen will be making his triumph return to TV sooner than we imagined, because his new comedy “Anger Management” has been picked up by FX. The sitcom will begin airing in summer 2012, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The network, that already airs Two and a Half Men re-runs, signed a deal for 10 episodes, and if those test well you can expect to see more Sheen.
The comedy will be loosely based on movie of the same name. Charlie will play the counselor, the role that was played by Jack Nicholson in the film.
That’s good news for fans that were less than pleased when Sheen was axed from Two and a Half Men and replaced with Ashton Kutcher. As we previously reported, after revamping Two and Half Men the sitcom dropped to third place in the ratings. I guess this just goes to show that you can’t keep a good warlock down.
