Well, it looks like Lady Gaga won’t be making her big screen debut courtesy of “The Muppets” after all. The film, which debuted November 23 and has earned $42 million so far, entered theaters sans an appearance from her Ladyship.
Another pop superstar who didn’t survive the final cut is Katy Perry, whose spoof of her song “I Kissed a Girl” was also deleted.
No offense to Lady Gaga or Katy Perry. “The Muppets” clocked in at an epic three hours before director James Bobin pared it down to a more a reasonable 98 minutes.
