Highly Anticipated Album Releases Of 2012

As you know, here at The Silver Tongue, we love music. What we love even more are new albums. There’s already excitement building for fans over some of these albums soon to be on repeat. So we’ve broken some of most highly anticipated albums in three parts – month by month with included dates for you to mark on your calendars, artists with album titles to look out for, and artists who have announced new albums, but have no official details as of now.

So enjoy the list (and the countdowns!) and let us know which albums are surprises, which ones aren’t, which ones you can’t wait for, and which ones you’re dreading in the comments section.

 

 

January:
30th – Two albums are coming out this day that are complete opposites. Lamb Of God releases Resolution, their 7th studio album, and Ringo Starr releases Ringo 2012.

31st – Lana Del Rey releases her highly anticipated album, Born To Die.

February:
7th – This is a big day for February, two Now CDs will be released: Now 41 (yes, they’re still going) and Now That’s What I Call Romance! Paul McCartney is also releasing his 23rd studio album, My Valentine.
14th – Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Nicki Minaj is releasing a second albun, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

March:
20th – Adam Lambert proves that he doesn’t need American Idol to make it big with the release of his second album, Trespassing.
26th – Feeder comes out with their 8th album, Generation Freakshow.

April:
3rd – Willow Smith releases Willow: You think You Know Me (first debut album).
