Bonus points for all of us, New Year’s falls on a Sunday this time around. Among other things (like nursing those Sunday hangovers), this lends another weekend night for joy and celebration.
If you’re in Atlanta, check out “The Eve Before the Eve” at the Drunken Unicorn on Friday, 12/30. It’s a high-octane show featuring the glam rock stylings of the city’s own, The Sexual Side Effects – this show also marks the completion of the band’s month long Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for Michael Simon’s [VH-1 Storytellers] direction of their new music video.
The show will also feature Atlanta’s energy-rock staple, The Swear, fronted by Elizabeth Elkins of Granville Automatic. And Nashville’s The Worsties will be there to open the night right.
