Adding yet more intrigue to the most wildcard-filled artist roster of 2011 is the possible signing of former G-Unit rapper Young Buck to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group label. According to a recent interview with Hip Hop Official, Buck has confirmed a new mixtape to be released “on behalf of Maybach Music Group.”
MMG made a few heads turn for better or worse this year by signing artists that don’t really have much of a connection to each other in style such as Wale, Meek Mill, Pill, Stalley, Audra the Rapper and more. With this possible addition of Young Buck, the unpredictability factor of the Warner Bros.-distributed label will increase for 2012.
