50 Cent Backtracks on Twitter Rants, Apologizes to Interscope

Last year 50 Cent spent more time ranting and raving on twitter then he did making music. Throughout 2011 the he shot off a number of tweets voicing his displeasure with Interscope records for not releasing his album.

In June 2011 he tweeted:

“Ok I tried to be cool with my record company. I went to the meeting to talk to everyone and sh—feels like there moving in slow motion.” The south side rapper went on to say, “I’m sorry to announce I will not be releasing a new album this year if we don’t get on the same page.”

In July 2011 he tweeted:

 ”Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe Interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans. I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many.”

He continues, “I LOVE DRE but I’m putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00. Your gonna love it its a big song I just don’t think it deserves a great set up sense they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”

But now it seems like the rapper has had a change of tweet heart, because earlier today he tweeted:

Discovered a computer glitch leaked my song. Sorry to team at interscope for over reacting! I put a lot in to this project but I don’t care if it ever comes out. Jimmy iovine has been like a mentor for me. I just want to stay friends.”

What’s going on with 50? Is this all part of a failed publicity stunt or does he genuinely have a reason to be upset with Interscope?
