Johnny Depp will take on the role of Barnabus Collins in the upcoming film Dark Shadows. The movie is directed by Depp’s long time friend and collaborator, Tim Burton.
The movie is based on the gothic soap opera of the same name, which ran from 1966-1971. The film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Helena Bonham Carter, Jonny Lee Miller and Chloe Moretz. It’s set to be released in theaters on May 11.
