President Barack Obama appoached his first campaign with the support of 50 cent, Michael Moore, Jamie Foxx and, let’s be honest, way too many other celebrities to count.
This time around, according to a “wish list” of potential supporters the administration sent to a number of campaign donors, the President of the United States is still eager for some support from the music world. Among the musicians Barack Obama sought for endorsement were Arcade Fire, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, Jack Johnson, Janelle Monae and John Legend. The list was printed in the The Tennessean newspaper.
Both John Legend and Jay-Z have already publicly endorsed Obama duing the 2008 Presidential election.
