Rihanna And Coldplay To Perform Together At 54th Annual Grammy Awards

Good things are in store for the 54th annual Grammy Awards show next month, and it has been confirmed that Rihanna will be on stage–with help from Coldplay.

This will be the first time two two artists will be performing together, and the news was announced via Twitter by Rihanna herself:

“#RihannaNavy My friends @ColdPlay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this years Annual Grammy Awards! #BONKERS”

The two will be performing “Princess of China”, off of Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto, their fifth studio album that was released in October of last year.

As far as nominations go, Rihanna and Coldplay are no strangers. Rihanna’s album Loud was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, and best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “What’s My Name?” and “All Of The Lights”.

Coldplay was nominated for a few things as well: Best Pop/Duo Group Performance for “Paradise”, Best Rock Performance, and Best Rock Song for “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall”.

Paul McCartney has also been confirmed in the lineup, who has been nominated for Best Historical Album, Band On The Run (will this take his Grammy award count up to 15?).

Make sure to watch the performance aired live on February 12th at 8PM, it’s sure to be a show that won’t disappoint.
