The Darkness Kick Off Tour

Multi-platinum British group, The Darkness, is a name you might not have heard in a while. But the band is back, and has several news bits of interest for this week. For starters, February 1 kicks off a brand new tour for these high energy rockers. All four of the original members – Justin Hawkins (vocals/guitars), Dan Hawkins (guitars/backing vocals), Frankie Poullain (bass) and Ed Graham (drums) – are back together again for a month long North American tour that starts with a sold-out Toronto date.

Wednesday also marks the debut of “Nothin’s Gonna Stop Up,” The Darkness’ first new song in six years. The song and accompanying video will premiere on RollingStone.com at 9:00 am (EST), and will be available on the band’s site, theactualdarkness.com, thereafter. “Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us” will also be available for free download. The video was created by artist Thom Lessner and directed by Ted Passon.
