Earlier today Media Take Out posted some old, but very explicit pictures of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker in the buff, and he’s pretty pissed about it.
Although the site never named Barker as the subject in the photos, it was pretty clear who it was. In the article MTO claimed that “the rocker” sent the pictures to an unnamed source, who in turn sent the pictures to them.
According to TMZ, Travis retained lawyer Evan Spiegel of the law firm of Lavely and Singer, and he fired off a cease and desist letter to the popular urban gossip site, claiming that the pics are an “unauthorized use of private photos.” Apparently the letter worked because Media Take Out has since removed the post and photos from their website.
The post was viewed over 400,000 times before it was eventually removed. OUCH!
