Don’t expect President Obama to quit his day job as commander-in-chief to sign with Young Money or to start crooning like Drake, but all and all his singing isn’t that bad.
While speaking Thursday night during a fundraiser at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem, the President was moved into song, singing a portion of Green’s classic hit “Let’s Stay Together.” Watch the video below.
ABC News reports that close to 1,400 supporters attended the event, which included performances from Al Green and India.Arie. Other outlets are projecting the President to make over 3 million from Thursday’s fundraisers. Maybe the President should consider a job in the music business. Clearly it’s lucrative and a lot less stressful.
