2012 Governor’s Ball Festival Lineup Announced

As previously reported,The 2012 Governors Ball Music Festival will take place on June 23rd and 24th Randall’s Island Park, and now the lineup for the festival has been announced.

This year’s performers include Cults, Cage The Elephant, Passion Pit, James Murphy & Pat Mahoney, Santigold, Freelance Whales, Beck and more.

The festival will consist of two stages, showcasing some of the best musicians from a variety of genres including hip hop, electronica, indie rock, americana, and pop Governors Ball 2012.

Last year’s  inaugural festival drew over 20,000 attendees enjoying over 12 hours of non stop music from artists including Girl Talk, Pretty Lights, Big Boi, Neon Indian and Empire of the Sun among others. The festivities also included Basketball, Beach Volleyball, and Ping Pong. Watch a recap from last year’s festival below.
