Actor and comedian Adam Sandler is leading the pack at the 2012 Razzie awards. He’s been nominated for 11 awards, the highest number of nominations in a single year.
The opposite of the Oscars, The Golden Raspberrys, are handed out ever year to those behind the year’s worst films. Sandler’s films, the cross-dressing comedy Jack & Jill and his romantic comedy Just Go With It were both nominated along with Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star, which Sandler wrote the screenplay.
Sandler also received a worst actor and actress nominations, for Jack & Jill, in which he plays both the male and female roles.
Co-star Katie Holmes and Al Pacino, who plays himself in the movie, received nominations in the worst supporting categories.
Other worst film nominees include Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star, New Year’s Eve, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon and the fourth installment in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn Part 1.
Twilight, the teen vampire drama based on Stephanie Meyer’s books, earned eight nominations, including a worst actor nod for Taylor Lautner.
The Razzies will take place April 1.
