Dexys Midnight Runners to Release First New Album in 27 Years

Dexys Midnight Runners, the band known for such 80′s hits as “Come On Eileen” and “Geno”, will release their first new album in 27 years, reports NME. The band made the announcement via their Facebook page.

”One Day I’m Going To Soar’, the long awaited follow-up to 1985′s Don’t Stand Me Down, will drop June 4. Along with the announcement, the band posted a link to a YouTube clip called ‘Now – The first 2 minutes of the new Dexys album’. Listen to the audio below.
