After taking a three-year break, Sigur Rós announced plans to tour in 2012. With no tentative tour dates released, the band has confirmed their appearance at the 2012 Bestival on the Isle of Wight in September. This will be there only UK tour date.
Last year the told the Wall Street Journal they were working on new material, which they described as “floaty and minimal”. The band’s follow-up to 2008′s highly acclaimed ‘Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust’ this spring.
