She may have been the focus of a large amount of media attention following the breakdown of her marriage, drug habits and worrying tweets, but if the Irish singer-songwriter’s performance of her new single ‘The Wolf is Getting Married’ is any indication then we know her music hasn’t suffered.
Performing on BBC’s ‘The Graham Norton Show’, O’Connor silenced those who may have doubted her, and in an emphatic style, paving the way for a hopefully successful comeback.
The single ‘The Wolf is Getting Married’ is the first to be released from the singer’s ninth studio album, ‘How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?’, the first album to be released by O’Connor in five years. The album is due to drop on the 5th March in the UK, on Little Indian Records, and has already received positive reviews by Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, amongst others.
