Hip hop magazine XXL has released it’s annual Freshman list featuring what they believe are the premier up and coming rappers in the scene poised to break though. For this list, readers were given a chance to vote on one emcee from a large group of nominated rappers.
The final list includes SPIN’s critically acclaimed Detroit emcee Danny Brown, MTV’s hottest emcee of 2011 Machine Gun Kelly, Bad Boy’s latest signee French Montana, hit hook-maker Roscoe Dash, youtube favorites Hopsin and Iggy Azalea, buzzing Atlanta emcee Future, indie circuit favorite Macklemore, Kid Ink, and Don Trip.
