Diplo Announces Reggae Record with Snoop Dogg

According to MTV News, world-renowned producer Diplo and Snoop Doggy Dogg himself are joining forces for a collaborative reggae album. The duo has already recorded 18 tracks for the effort, but have yet to announce any other details. Diplo weighs in on the project below.

Snoop Dogg is an icon, man; he’s bigger than the music. What we’re doing is a reggae record. It’s like Snoop Dogg and Major Lazer together. It’s all reggae and he’s singing and he’s doing a f—ing awesome job and I never knew it, but he had his heart in every song.

So whether you’re a fan of the dancehall rhythms of Major Lazer or the institution that is Snoop, this new collaboration is a real head-turner.
