Big K.R.I.T can easily be classified as one of the most intriguing artist out at the moment. He is pure southern hip-hop. It’s hard to play his music and not reminisce of the days where 8 Ball & MJG, Outkast, and David Banner flew through the gates of hip-hop like a tornado infecting radio waves with their southern slang, love for old-school cars, and tales of staying high and fly.
Now Big K.R.I.T has dropped 4EvaNaDay, his third major mixtap, although I think it’s more appropriate to call it a free album. 4EvaNaDay consist of 100% original production (by K.R.I.T), with no actual rap features, just a jazzy saxophone by Wille B and a nice guitar addition by Mike Harnett. K.R.I.T should be demanding $10 for this mixtape, but since it’s free there’s no reason you should pass on a chance to hear the future of southern hip-hop.
