The filmmaker behind the documentary Kony 2012 and Invisible Children co-founder has been arrested in San Diego.
Jason Russell, 33,was detained at the intersection of Ingraham Street and Riviera Road after he was discovered allegedly masturbating and vandalizing cars. Police said they received several calls yesterday at 11:30 a.m. of a man undressed and running through traffic and screaming. Police described him as “in his underwear.”
The Kony 2012 documentary went viral two weeks ago and has been watched more than 80 million times.
