It appears that veteran rapper Nas is returning to his roots much akin to how Common brought back his original elements in The Dreamer/The Believer. Not a surprise that both Nas and Common are working on an upcoming joint project. Here is the Queens, NY emcee’s new single “The Don” which showcases the aforementioned qualities featuring production from longtime collaborator Salaam Remi with co-production from Da Internz and the late great Heavy D. Nas’ next album Life Is Good currently has no release date but the recording process is complete.
