Several copycat parties have sprung up since the everything goes party film “Project X” hit theaters. Now one teen is dead, according to reports.
Close to 1000 kids packed into a Houston mansion after invites to a party inspired by the film went out on Facebook and Twitter. At some point during the night multiple gunshot were fired. Around midnight, police responded to a noise disturbance at the home and shut down the party. The unidentified male victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston.
But this wasn’t an isolated incident.
ABC reports that thirteen teenagers were arrested after trashing a new 4,000-square-foot home last Thursday, and an 18 year-old from Miramar, Florida allegedly caused $19,000 worth of damage to a foreclosed home while preparing for his Project X themed party.
