Tuesday marked the released of the latest EP from Electric Flower Group, and TST is proud to stream the full EP below.
The duo consisting of guitarist/singer Imaad Wasif and drummer Josh Garza, released their sophomore EP, entitled EP II, on March 27th via Narnack Records, and in celebration of the release, the group will be performing an intimate in-store set at Origami Vinyl in Echo Park, CA tonight, Friday, March 30th at 7:00p.The free show will be the band’s first performance since their return from the SXSW Music Festival.
EP II is the band’s follow up to Electric Flower EP which we at the Silver Tongue saw as a well established and greatly promising debut, you can see the review here. The band have already received a collection of positive reviews for the new EP, with Spin describing the EP as ‘Crispy psych-pop beauty’, and SF Weekly declared the duo ‘Intensely emotional, talented songwriters’.
