Variety reports that rapper/actor Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will be starring in the upcoming motion picture The Tomb along veteran action superstars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Directed by Swedish screenwriter and director Michael Hafstrom (1408, Shanghai, The Rite), the film will also star Jim Caviezel, Vincent D’Onofrio and Amy Ryan and centers around the story of “an expert on structural security (Stallone) who’s framed and put in a high-security prison of his own design. He must put his skills to the test to find out who put him there.”
This continues 50 Cent’s streak of acting credits as he has appeared in films such as Fire With Fire with Bruce Willis,Vengeance with Danny Trejo, Freelancers with Robert De Niro and The Frozen Ground with Nicolas Cage, all of which are set for release later this year.
The Tomb is scheduled for release in Summer 2013.
