Azealia Banks has cancelled a number of summer festival shows due to “recording commitments,” reports NME.
Banks, whose album ‘Broke With Expensive Taste‘ drops in September, will play the Reading and Leeds Festivals and BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend, but has cancelled her other UK appearances.
A spokesperson for the rapper’s management team told NME, “Azealia Banks will be performing at the Radio 1 Hackney Weekender and Reading & Leeds Festivals this summer, but has unfortunately had to cancel her remaining UK festival appearances due to recording commitments. Her October UK headline tour will still go ahead as scheduled”
So far she’s cancelled appearances at Lovebox festival, Rockness, Rough Beats festival, Parklife, Wakestock and at a series of European festivals, including Rock Am Ring and Rock Werchter.
