A reunited Ben Folds Five will be touring the U.K. and Ireland in November and December, in addition to a brand new album to be released later this year.
The as-yet untitled album will be released around August and is the follow up to 1999′s The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner. The trio (comprising Ben Folds, Robert Sledge and Darren Jessee) have also recorded some new material for a ‘Best Of’ compilation album to be released in October.
The dates comprise of the following:
NOVEMBER
23rd – BOURNEMOUTH, O2 Academy 24th – NOTTINGHAM, Rock City 26th – DUBLIN (Ireland), Vicar Street 29th – MANCHESTER, O2 Apollo 30th – GLASGOW, O2 Academy
DECEMBER
1st – LEEDS, O2 Academy 3rd – BIRMINGHAM, O2 Academy 4th – LONDON, O2 Academy (Brixton)
