Glenn Close and Rose Byrne will be back for a fifth season of Damages, but it will the their last.
The ruthless legal drama set in New York City will air July 11th on DirecTV’s Audience Network, but Variety reports it will the series’ last season, ruling out rumors for a sixth season.
After a successful debut, Damages suffered the “season two slump” many other productions suffer, and since then it had no choice but to move to DirecTV after FX dumped it.
Last season, Damages was home to guest star John Goodman, and season five will feature Ryan Phillippe, Victor Garber, Janet McTeer, John Hannah, Judd Hirsch, M. Emmett Walsh, William Sadler, Gbenga Akinnagbe and Jenna Elfman.
