Nicki Minaj Shows Off Her ASSets in New Video for ‘Starships’

I’m not one for feeling particularly guilty about music taste, but Nicki Minaj’s new single Starships is certainly pushing the envelope of acceptability. The pop singer/rapper today released the new video for her new single, which you can watch at the bottom of the page.

The track, an unashamed ridiculous summer-sounding pop number, is the first release from the singer new release Roman Reloaded, which although having received slightly mixed reviews is set to give Minaj with another line of commercially successful singles.

The video itself is everything we’ve come to expect from the outlandish singer, with intentionally cheesy CGI, glaringly bright colours and plenty of half-naked attractive people dancing around for no clear reason. Oh, and not to forget another starring role for Minaj’s… exterior.

You may be the most cynical human being on the planet, but you’re going to find yourself dancing to this in a club at some point in the foreseeable future, so you may as well just get used to it. (That wasn’t an attempt at justifying my fondness of the song in any way, shape, or form.)
