The six-piece London band, whose latest album Punk & Poetry was released in 2011, announced today they would be splitting up via their website. The band state on their site they are “immensely proud of their body of work”, that they have “taken things as far as they can go”, do not want “to go through the motions like so many other artists do” and that they “believe strongly in what The King Blues Stand For”.
Since their formation in 2004, the band have released three albums and plan to release their final effort, Long Live the Struggle, in early July.
