Tommy Marth, Saxophonist for The Killers Commits Suicide

Tommy Marth, a saxophone player for The Killers, was found dead at his Las Vegas home Monday, according to reports. The death is being treated as a suicide. He was 33.

Marth played on The Killers’ second and third albums—2006′s Sam’s Town and 2008′s Day & Age—and toured with the band in 2008 and 2009.

The Killers tweeted, “Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There’s a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy.”
