Tupac’s Hologram Going on Tour?

Tupac’s hologram performance was a massive hit with Coachella fans, so much so that Dr. Dre is contemplating taking the hologram on the road.

According to Wall Street Journal, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are seriously considering making virtual Tupac part of a joint tour between rappers. The tour might feature other stars such as Eminem, Wiz Khalifa and 50 Cent.

Dre contacted Digital Domain, the company that produced the effect,  about the project a year ago, and El Ulbrich, the company’s chief creative officer says this is just the start of things.

“This is just the beginning,” Ulbrich said. “Dre has a massive vision for this.”
