Listen: Little Boots Debuts New Track ‘Headphones’

Those who might have forgotten Little Boots will be in for a treat. Yesterday Victoria Hesketh stopped by BBC Radio 1, fresh off stage to debut her new track Headphones.

Hesketh is currently in the process of finishing her as yet untitled second album; the follow up to 2009′s both commercially and critically successful, Hands. The recording process for her sophomore release has clearly been a careful and well thought out process, with the singer having discussed the long awaited second album in interviews as early as 2010, describing the album as more raw, and “a bit more down-to-earth.”

Though the singer has released various pieces of new material of late, including the tracks Shake, the lead single from her new record and Every Night I Say A Little Prayer, a special release for this years Record Store Day, material from the new album has been much under wraps.

Speaking to Q Magazine earlier this week, Hesketh said:

“The album will definitely be released later on in the year. I’m not sure when exactly but we’re just putting the finishing touches to it and I can’t wait for it to all be completed! I’m really excited!”
