Mick Jagger Set For ‘Saturday Night Live’

Jagger

Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, will make his début as presenter of the long-running U.S. show Saturday Night Live on May 19th,  it has been revealed.

Despite this being his inaugural stint as host, Jagger has performed on the show two times before, and made other appearances – most notably as Jimmy Fallon’s reflection in the mirror in 2001. It is unclear whether the rest of The Rolling Stones will also feature, but – as this year is the group’s 50th anniversary – we could be in for a surprise.

In related news, photographs of The Rolling Stones are to be exhibited at this year’s Contact photography festival in Toronto, Canada – along with some of the other big acts of the 60′s, such as Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles. The festival will feature work by Barrie Wentzell, who has taken some of rock’s most iconic images.
