Quite a few people, women and men alike, were a bit taken back the Time Magazine cover that features a mother, 26-year-old Jamie Lynne Grumet proudly breastfeeding her 3-year old son.
Grumet tweeted, “Oh my gosh! Aram and I are on the cover of @timemagazine”.
Although the cover is getting plenty of attention, the actual cover story deals with attachment parenting and profiles Dr. William Sears. It also features three other mothers who tackle issues such as breast-feeding, co-sleeping and “baby wearing”.
