Dan Deacon Announces New Album, Offers Free Track

Last night on his Facebook page, the spastic-electro artist Dan Deacon announced a new album is in the works. After composing the soundtrack to last year’s Twixt, Deacon is back to work on his solo career. The new album, titled America, is expected to drop August 28th via Domino Records.

In the meantime, Deacon is offering a free download of “Lots,” one of the tracks on his forthcoming record. Check it out as well as tour dates below.
