Dirty Three Announce UK Tour

The Australian instrumental trio, including Warren Ellis of Bad Seeds/Grinderman fame, have announced a short UK tour for this coming fall.

The band’s eigth full length album, Toward the Low Sun dropped earlier this year to a great deal of critical acclaim. The album was the outfit’s first release for five years, with Ellis occupied with his contributions to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Dig, Lazurus, Dig!!!, as well as recording two critically acclaimed albums with the Bad Seeds side project Grinderman.

The tour, while only seven dates in total, visits London, Manchester and Dublin, and commences on 20th November. The band have also confirmed for this year’s End of the Road festival. The band have only just finished a May/June European tour.
