Maximo Park set to bring tour and blockbuster album stateside

The Maxïmo Park drought in the United States is coming to an end. The band has announced its first American tour in five years. The UK princes of all things melodic are poised to champion the highly anticipated release of The National Health, the band’s upcoming fourth album and first since 2009′s Quicken the Heart.

Frontman Paul Smith is calling The National Health a “crowd-pleasing blockbuster,” and Maxïmo Park’s high-energy live sets will undoubtedly capitalize on every ounce of the winning blockbuster appeal.
