Gwen Stefani Solo No More

No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani, 42, might have had two successful solo albums–Love. Angel. Music. Baby and The Sweet Escape–but don’t expect the busy mother of two to record a follow-up any time soon. Stefani is fully committed to her family and No Doubt’s comeback.

Stefani opened up to The Daily Record in the UK about the possibility to recording another solo album. ”I was always thinking of that as a moment in time and you can never say never. But these last couple of years have been overwhelming for me, with having so much going on, and my husband being on tour, and just trying to do it all, which is not possible.”

Indeed, Stefani’s life has been an extreme whirl wind. She married Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale in 2002 and had two sons Kingston, 6 and Zuma, 3. Her two solo albums have sold a combined total of 20 million copies worldwide and garnered a handful of Top Ten Singles.

Stefani is ready to close that chapter in her life and embark on a new phase with her band No Doubt. They released “Settle Down” the reggae inspired first single to their forthcoming album earlier this month.
