Blur fans, rejoice! Blur have unveiled two new songs titled “Under the Westway” and “The Puritan,” and they call to mind Blur’s masterful mid-90’s sound (particularly the classic album, Parklife).
The band’s upcoming performance as closing act for the 2012 London Olympics was the impetus for new Blur music. The songs are the first released material for the band since “Fool’s Day,” a limited-release single the band offered up on Record Store Day 2010.
