The xx are slated to release their highly anticipated sophomore album, Coexist, on September 11 on Young Turks. Take a listen to “Angels,” first single and lead track from the Mercury Prize-winning London lads’ forthcoming album. It’s a true work of beauty. Mesmerizing, yearning, sparse on the surface and deceptively layered, it’s every bit as masterful as “Intro,” “VCR,” and “Crystalised” off their 2010 eponymous debut.
