Back in June, myself and my good colleagues Will and John all sat down to review Crocodiles new release for our podcast, (which you can listen to here), and whilst we may have awarded the album three out of five, we all agreed that songs like Endless Flowers were enthralling pop songs, hidden beneath a guise of distorted noise-rock. Today the San Diego band debuted their video for the lead single. Directed by Pete Dee, the video is both delightedly tongue in cheek with its 80′s neon backlighting, home-video visuals and swaths of dry ice, completed only by band members Charles Rowell and Brandon Welchez incessant pouting in leather jackets and Ray-bans. One description of the video read as; “is a psychedelic teen dream saturated with dirty distortion, fawning babes, and enough dry ice to drive you to distraction.”
Early last week the band also announced tour dates for the East Coast of America, playing in New York, Miami, Atlanta and Baltimore amongst others. Support is set to come from garage rock band Eternal Summers. The tour dates are as follows:
